An official website of the State of Georgia.
How you know
Local, state, and federal government websites often end in .gov. State of Georgia government websites and email systems use “georgia.gov” or “ga.gov” at the end of the address. Before sharing sensitive or personal information, make sure you’re on an official state website.

Last year, we updated the state flagship website, completing our GovHub migration project. As we continue to tweak and build out new content for Georgia.gov, it’s worth sharing why.
A Promo is a type of micro-content; It can’t exist on its own, but you embed it as a block onto other pages. Put simply, it’s a way to briefly introduce specific content and guide users down the right path. We’ve talked in the past about ways of grouping links — in Link Collections, Icon Lists, and Tilesets — but sometimes you need just a single item to stand apart from the rest.
Contacts are a key piece of structured content. Did an office change titles or get a new phone number? Update the information in one place, and see that reflected all throughout your website.
Basically, an Icon List is made up of links, each with their own icon. Icon Links can link to both external and internal pages. You can give the list a title, description, and “more” link. It can be displayed with or without a card, on a Landing Page.
Link Collection is our most commonly used block type, and they are on nearly every GovHub site. Do you have a bunch of related stuff that you need to link to? Well then do I have the block for you…
For the past couple years, we’ve used Tiles as a way to visually feature multiple pieces of highly important content. So far in Drupal 8, you’d only been able make Tiles with the Image and Image with Text layouts. Now we’ve added a third type of Tile to GovHub sites: Icons. Think of it as Icon List’s bolder, stronger cousin.
We have colors, we have fonts, we have photos… Why not use them?
Wireframes allow you to scale back and focus on what is important.
Moving forward, we want to address the challenges of our agency partners and communicate with them effectively. To get our team and vendors on the same page, we’ve put together 6 personas.
