Outreach Coordinator


JOB SUMMARY:  

The Outreach Coordinator will be responsible for supporting client retention and growth, including implementing marketing and communications strategies, executing clerical and organizational duties, and providing excellent customer service.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Learn about Digital Services Georgia (DSGa) products and its potential impact on state agencies and constituents as a whole

  • Understand the digital properties of client agencies in their current state and their future needs

  • Prepare, track, and ensure execution of contracts

  • Respond to outreach inquiries from elected officials, state organizations, and local or regional municipalities

  • Maintain accurate client contact information

  • Assist with projects and marketing campaigns

  • Evaluate and assist with implementation of customer relationship management tools

  • Prepare and schedule regular communications and announcements

  • Assist with the support desk to engage with clients and understand the platform

  • Identify opportunities for client growth

  • Other duties as assigned

AGENCY SPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3+ years’ experience in a public relations or communications office

  • Knowledge of state governmental affairs

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications or English

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong organizational skills

 

Preferred Qualifications:

(Preference will be given to candidates who demonstrate some or all of the following skills/experience):

  • Knowledge of open source platforms, such as Drupal

  • Experience with content management systems

  • Proficiency with spreadsheets software

  • Experience with marketing campaigns

  • Experience with contracts administration
